The Modern Mindset and the 6 Core Human Needs

Today I met with a behavioral consultant and trainer from The Modern Mindset to discuss how we can support CV Assist customers in achieving their goal, to find their dream role or next career move.

Our conversation was insightful!  We focused our discussions not just on what you want but more on what you need!  Many customers come to me and feel stuck and unsure of their next steps, their resumes are confusing as they are trying to change career but unsure how to do this.  This is where we honed in on the 6 Core Human Needs.  Before we look at your resume, we can help you to focus on what you need and then align this with your personal, work and lifestyle goals and objectives. Take a look at the 6 human needs below and start to re-order them in your priorities as a starting point.

The Six Human Needs
1. Certainty: assurance you can avoid pain and gain pleasure
2. Uncertainty/Variety: the need for the unknown, change, new stimuli
3. Significance: feeling unique, important, special or needed
4. Connection/Love: a strong feeling of closeness or union with someone or something
5. Growth: an expansion of capacity, capability or understanding
6. Contribution: a sense of service and focus on helping, giving to and supporting others

This is just scratching the surface of providing you with the focus, balance and motivation you need to have true confidence in everything you do.

Understanding the value of shaping your attitude, drive and performance are vital, as how you think and what you think impacts on your daily decisions and performance. Developing the skills you need has the capacity to elevate your mind and physical state and create far-reaching possibilities, opportunities, and outcomes.

Our results are a reflection of the strategies we run in our minds in any given relationship. Whether with a job task, colleagues, conflict, performance, time management, organisation, interaction, even clients. We continuously run strategies on a subconscious level that may or may not serve us. This is what sets apart those achieving results and those not. So developing the ability to think better (more resourcefully), is where The Modern Mindset comes in.  Find out more @ www.themodernmindset.com
