Advice
So now you have your resume and cover letter ready, don’t rush your application! You must review your resume against each individual job description and ensure the key skills and experience they are looking for are clearly highlighted on page one of your resume to ensure you get shortlisted. Don’t copy the job description word for word but ensure industry buzzwords are included. Further highlight in your cover letter again that you have X number of years’ experience in the key area or industry and tell them what results you have delivered in a similar role. This helps recruiters and potential employers to short list your resume at a glance and get to know a bit more about you prior to the interview.
