I was looking to look at new opportunities, however, had not updated my CV for 6.5 years so really didn't know where to start. I wanted to have a CV that will impress especially at the high level of placement  that I was looking to move into. I started to write down all the information in my career  which resulted in a 6 page CV, I knew this wasn't going to work and reading through it the layout and format was all wrong. I was on maternity leave and had been working for my company for 8 years prior to this and thought I had some time to really focus on looking for my next step in my career.  I found 2 jobs I was literally dancing over.   I knew I had the experience but wanted to ensure this was the right move as I had a new baby to consider and also was I really the person they were looking for.  I contacted CV Assist and had a call with them to discuss my situation and the roles.  During the call we discussed work, life balance and what I wanted first in my personal life.  It made me think about what it would really be like if I moved to a new company with all the other changes happening as a new mum. Winner!
